So I get this email from Lindsay Lanier from Allied Integrated Marketing who tells me that Black Beauty is coming to Memphis for a couple of quick stops for one day and she has invited me out to take a look at this thing and even drive it, if I would like to. Hot Dog! I am so there.

‘The Green Hornet’ Strikes On New ‘Mythbusters’ Episode

“The Green Hornet” is getting the spotlight in an all-new episode of “Mythbusters” airing tonight (December 15) at 9PM eastern/pacific on the Discovery Channel. The episode will highlight two of the movie’s many action sequences, with Seth Rogen himself serving as a veritable Kato to regular hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman.

Next week, local movie fans will get a chance to see for themselves, when “The Green Hornet” car — a tricked-out, machine-gun-sporting job with the nickname Black Beauty — driven by Rogen’s character makes a publicity stop on Friday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Clearview Mall parking lot.

You wouldn’t think of Seth Rogen as comic book Hero, but you’d be wrong. Just as you wouldn’t of a 1966 Chrysler Imperial as the coolest and baddest comic book car, but you’d be wrong. We think that the soon to be released movie version and big-screen re-launch of the comic book hero masked crime-fighter Green Hornet will be a huge hot because of the Black Beauty and Seth Rogan of course.
